Delete your Dishdale account

Dishdale is a family meal planner by Siddharthkumar Patel. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, from inside the app.

How to delete it

1. Open Dishdale on your phone.
2. Go to Profile → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your household and everything in it are removed from your phone and our server straight away. This can't be undone.

What is deleted

• Your household and its settings: store, budgets, food rules, allergies and kitchen.
• The people you added.
• Your weeks, grocery lists, ratings and favourites.
• Your account, whether it's anonymous or linked to Apple or Google.

What is kept, and for how long

• Database backups, where we keep them, expire within 7 days.
• Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google. Deleting your account doesn't cancel it: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

If you can't use the app

Email support@dishdale.com with the subject "Delete my Dishdale account". If your account is linked to Apple or Google, say which, and we'll delete it within 30 days.

An account that was never linked to Apple or Google is anonymous: we have no way to connect it back to you without the app. If you still have the app, use Profile → Delete account before uninstalling it.
